Metcal MX-UK6 High Thermal Demand Upgrade Kit

The MX-UK6 is an ESD-Safe, MX Series "High Thermal Demand" Upgrade Kit. This kit is designed for use with any existing MX-Series Solder Systems. The MX-UK6 includes the MX-H6-HTD Iron Hand-Piece and the MX-W1AV Tip-Saver Work Stand. The MX-H6-HTD iron provides a boost in performance by more effectively delivering thermal energy to the most demanding loads. The MX-H6-HTD hand-piece features a 70" (178cm) Cable Length, for an unmatched reach and the ability to solder from nearly any angle.  The included MX-W1AV Work Stand features an integrated Auto-Sleep function, which places the iron in sleep mode when entered into the magnetic cradle of the stand. This function helps save the overall life of the cartridges being used.
