Metcal MFR-WSDSX Desoldering Workstand with Venturi

The Metcal MFR-WSDSX is a Desolder Work-Stand with Venturi Technology. The Venturi Technology allows the stand to adjust the the flow of solder pressure in the desolder tool using compressed air. This stand is compatible with the MFR-H5-DS Desoldering Hand-Piece. The unit requires clean, dry shop air for the Venturi System [recommended approx. 80 psi (max.)]. The MFR-WSDSX comes complete with a yellow "wet" sponge (STSS-YS1) and a brass coil pad to clean the desolder tip inbetween applications. The Venturi effect is utilized to create a vacuum that sucks away the molten solder, ensuring a clean and precise desoldering experience.
