Metcal HTC-9CH0053S High Thermal Demand Chisel Cartridge Soldering Tip, 5.3 mm

The HTC-9CH0053S is a HTC Series "High Thermal Tip Cartridge". This Chisel Style Solder Tip is ideal for soldering components with a high thermal demand. The HTC Series tips deliver more thermal energy to the tips pad, minimizing the risk of component and/or PCB damage associated with leaving the iron tip on the solder joint for extended periods of time. This HTC Tip measures 0.208" (5.3mm) wide x 0.027" (0.69mm) Thick x 0.325" (8.26mm) long. The HTC-9CH0053S offers a 900°F Temperature Rating, providing a maximum soldering temp of 950°F (510°C). This cartridge is compatible with the MX-H6-HTD Solder Iron Hand-Piece and the MX Series Solder Systems ONLY.
