Metcal SMTC-1173 45° Knife Drag Cartridge Soldering Tip for MX Series Systems

The SMTC-1173 is a SMTC Series 45° Knife Tip Cartridge. The SMTC Series Tip Cartridges are designed for use with the MX Series Solder Systems, using the MX-H1-AV "Advanced" Hand-Piece or the MX-RM3E Coil Assembly Hand-Piece. These cartridges are ideal for Surface Mount Soldering and Rework. The SMTC-1173 measures 0.18" wide x 0.65" long (4.8 x 16.51mm) with a 45° tip angle. This tip features an increased "Tinned Area" (T.A.), this area measure 0.23" (5.84mm) thick. The SMTC-1173 tip offers a maximum temperature of 775°F (412°C), designed for most standard applications.
