The MFR-H5-DS is an ESD-Safe Desoldering Hand-Piece. This iron features a two-in-one Ergonomic and Flexible Hand-Piece, allowing the operator to choose between a pencil style or pistol style desolder tool. This hand-piece is ideal for through-hole desoldering applications. The H5-DS includes a large collection chamber, designed to be easy and quick to replace. This tool also features a 48" (122cm) Cable Length, for an unmatched reach and the ability to solder from nearly any angle.

The MFR-H5-DS accepts the DxP Series Desoldering Cartridges (*All Cartridges Sold Separately). The DxP Series Cartridges are available in three (3) styles DFP [F = F4/Fiber Glass (600°F) - For general desoldering applications], DTP [T = Temperature (700°F) - For highly temperature sensitive component desoldering] and/or DCP [C = Ceramic (800°F) - For highly thermal applications]. This hand-piece is specifically designed to fit the MFR-WSDSX Desolder Iron Holder (Sold Separately).
