The Metcal MFR-H1-SC2 is a lightweight, slim style Soldering Cartridge Hand-Piece. This soldering iron is designed for use with any MFR Series Solder System. The iron is ideal for fine-access soldering, SMD rework and pad cleaning Blade Tips. The MFR-H1-SC2 features a 48" (122cm) Cable Length, for an unmatched reach and the ability to solder from nearly any angle. This iron accepts the SxP or RxP Series Soldering Cartridges (*All Tips Are Sold Separately). The SxP/RxP Series are available in three (3) styles SFP/RFP [F = F4/Fiber Glass (600°F) - For most general soldering applications], STP/RTP [T = Temperature (700°F) - For highly temperature sensitive component soldering] and/or SCP/RCP [C = Ceramic (800°F) - For high thermal applications]. The MFR-H1-SC2 hand-piece fits both the WS1 Iron Holder and/or the WS2 Iron Holder (Sold Separately).
