The Metcal MX-RM3E is a soldering and rework handpiece that is designed for MX to 500 systems, MX to 5000 and MX to 5200 systems. The general-purpose tool is used for single task soldering and SMD rework. The MX-RM3E is an ESD-Safe, MX Series Soldering and Rework Hand-Piece. This iron is designed for use with the MX-Series Systems. The MX-RM3E iron is ideal for general purpose applications including task soldering, touch-up soldering, Surface Mount Device (SMD) Rework and Pad clean-up. This iron features an ergonomic shaped handle and will stay cool to the touch, perfect for high production soldering environments. The MX-RM3E Hand-Piece is compatible with the WS1 Solder Iron Work-Stand (Sold Separately) and is designed to accept the STTC and SMTC Series Heater-Tip Cartridges (*All Cartridges Sold Separately).
