The Metcal STDC-703L tips are highly durable and designed for high heat transfer, making desoldering on multi-layer boards much easier. For use with the MX Series and Plated-Through-Hole Component Desoldering System with the MX-DS1 Desoldering Gun Hand-piece. The STDC-703L is a STDC Series, "Long Reach" Desolder Tip. This nozzle is designed for use with the MX-DS1 Hand-Piece. The STDC-703L offers a maximum temperature of 775°F (412°C), ideal for most general production soldering applications on populated boards and perfect for reaching into tight restrictive areas. This tip features an Inner Diameter (I.D) "A" of 0.03" (0.76mm), Outer Diameter (O.D) "B" of 0.06" (1.68mm) and Length/Working Distance "C" 0.84" (21.33mm). The cartridge design facilitates efficient and precise desoldering, allowing users to cleanly remove solder from joints and components without causing damage.
