The SMTC-1184 is a SMTC Series Concave Hoof Tip Cartridge. The SMTC Series Tip Cartridges are designed for use with the MX Series Solder Systems, using the MX-H1-AV "Advanced" Hand-Piece or the MX-RM3E Coil Assembly Hand-Piece. This tip is equipped with a Concave Slot, this slot is designed to be placed over an entire lead (creating a larger contact surface area), encompassing the component lead for a rapid and thorough heating performance.
