The Excelta 7270E is part of the Lazer Line Cutters. These American made cutters offer a fine long-nose, taper relieved shaped head with a Lazer-flush cut. This cutter offers a 0.02" (0.51mm) x 0.02" (0.51mm) tip with a 16° cut angle. Ideal for cutting leads [0.020" {.508mm} (24AWG)] in confined spaces. The 7249E is designed with a cut capacity of 0.001" - 0.020" [0.025mm - 0.50mm (AWG 40-24)] of soft wire. These cutters are made of Carbon Steel with induction hardened cutting blades to meet RHC 63-65 standards. The Lazerlok™ joint surfaces are constructed using a CNC machine to meet exact specifications and extends the life of the cutter. The 7270E cutters are designed with ESD-Safe molded grips with a static dissipation of 10(10) ohms/sq. The Lazer Line Cutters are equipped with dual leaf springs, which provide a smooth jaw action.
