DESCO CTC331-WW Iron Man Plus EOS Detection Workstation Grounding Monitor With 120V Power Supply

The SCS CTC331-WW is an Iron Man Plus monitor that continuously monitors the path-to-ground integrity of an operator and conductive or dissipative worksurface. Soldering irons touch the most sensitive components in your electronics assemblies. If the iron is not grounded properly components may be exposed to overvoltage that can cause severe damage and affect reliability of the product. Soldering irons are not the only threat metal tools such as tweezers and screwdriver bits can also induce significant overvoltage to the circuit. This monitor will detect every occurrence so that the corrective action can be immediately applied. Connect the overvoltage input to any ground plane connection on the board with the supplied alligator connector. Every time there is a dangerous EOS exposure the operator will be instantly informed. Additionally, the board itself will be reliably grounded via 1M resistor inside unit. Plus monitoring the entire workbench, wriststrap and dissipative mat. Operator is monitored for proper connectivity and for excessive body voltage and mat is monitored for proper connectivity. Also, a great tool to monitor floor mats.
