Desco 16475 ESD-Safe Portable Field Service Kit

The Desco 16475 is a red vinyl field service kit for the wrist strap ground cord. It has a large threaded grounding clip, a canvas carrying pouch, a 15' long common point ground cord and an adjustable wrist strap. The Desco 16475 Portable Mat with Adjustable Wrist Strap, 18 in. X 22 in., is designed for the electronics field service technician as a simple and effective means of creating an ESD protected area in the field. Featuring a common point ground system for grounding static control devices, the field service kit is manufactured from antistatic materials that prevent charge generation. When properly grounded, the Field Service Kit mat will remove the charge from conductive objects when they are placed on the surface.
