Chemtronics 80-1-5 Soder-Wick Rosin Desoldering Braid [30 x 5]

The Chemtronics 80-1-5 is a white, 5' long copper desoldering braid. The lead-free braids provide effective thermal transfer to solder joints quicker than conventional desoldering braids. The Chemtronics 80-1-5 Soder-Wick Rosin SD Desoldering Braid significantly reduces rework and repair time. Precise weave design allows for maximum solder capacity and optimized heat transfer through the braid resulting in faster solder wicking action. Sealed to be protected from the environment, this rosin flux desoldering braid is guaranteed to work as fast and effectively as the day it was made. The 80-1-5 desoldering braid is a 5' spool that is .03" (0.8mm) in diameter making it ideal for SMDs & micro-circuits. WHITE. It is held in an ESD-safe bobbin. Soder-Wick is designed for today’s heat sensitive electronic components using lighter mass, pure copper braid construction that allows for better thermal conductivity, even at low temperatures. Soder-Wick responds faster than conventional desoldering braids thereby minimizing overheating and preventing PCB damage.
