No. Pace soldering tips are designed for specific handpiece models. Each tip series has a unique barrel diameter and length that matches a particular handpiece. Using the wrong tip series will result in poor thermal contact or physical incompatibility. Always verify your handpiece model before ordering replacement tips.

What tip shape is best for general-purpose soldering?

A chisel or screwdriver-style tip in 1.6mm to 2.4mm width is the most versatile for general-purpose soldering. The flat face provides maximum contact area with the solder pad for efficient heat transfer, while the narrow edge allows access to fine-pitch components when needed.
