What is the difference between high-temp and standard PCB labels?

High-temperature labels use polyimide (Kapton-type) film that withstands temperatures up to 300°C, while standard labels use polyester rated to 230°C. High-temp labels also feature more aggressive adhesive formulations to maintain bond strength through thermal cycling. They cost more but are required for any lead-free soldering process.
