    The Hakko T31-01KU has a shape like a knife and is capable of soldering by applying the tip in 3 ways: line, face and point. It is used for soldering at narrow pitches, correction of bridging and drag soldering. The Hakko T31-01KU Knife Style Soldering Tip for FX1001 Hand Piece uses a highly precise manufacturing and process control method that allows for a more repeatable tip temperature between not only the same tip shape, but even between tips of different shapes within the same series.
