Polyimide label durability depends heavily on the cleaning chemistry it's exposed to. Aggressive defluxers like Zestron and Kyzen can degrade standard label adhesives, leaving residue or causing peel-off. Picking the right material family prevents downstream defects.

Label selection: If you're unsure about your cleaning chemistry, TT403 is the safe general-purpose choice. For the most aggressive cleaners (Zestron VIGON, Kyzen Aquanox), TT433 paired with TTRR-CR chemical-resistant ribbon is the only combination that has tested successfully across all three.
