The Desco 40980 is a floor mat with a dimensions of 48 x 36 x 0.45. Statfree DPL Plus floor mat is made with conductive vinyl top layer laminated to an anti-fatigue foam rubber bottom layer. The product is designed to provide a flooring surface that does not generate a static charge and will act as part of the path-to-ground personnel wearing ESD footwear. The resistance range (1 x 10³ to < 1 x 10⁶ ohms Rtt) of the top black layer will remain low enough to act as a path-to-ground with normal dirt and grim build-up on a floor and meet the required limit of ANSI/ESD S20.20 footwear/flooring system. < 1 x 10⁹ ohms tested per ANSI/ESD STM97.1, ANSI/ESD STM7.1, or ESD TR53. While the foam rubber bottom layer and the top yellow safety border are insulative, the black vinyl top does make sufficient contact to be grounded when placed upon ESD flooring. The insulative bottom foam rubber layer is designed to reduce standing worker’s fatigue and improve productivity. The diamond plate pattern increases traction and tapered edges with radius corners help to prevent curling and reduce tripping in work
