Frequently asked questions
Which Mantis head should I choose?
PIXO is the top of the line, with an integrated 5 MP camera for capture, annotation, and measurement. ERGO delivers the same class of optical inspection without the camera. IOTA is the compact choice for rework stations and basic inspection. Our system builder walks you through it.
Do all lenses fit all heads?
No. PIXO and ERGO share one lens range, including the co-planar objectives. IOTA uses its own dedicated lens range. The builder only shows lenses that fit the head you picked.
Can I use the 10x or 15x lens on the Verso Arm?
The build sheet does not recommend it. High magnification wants the extra stability of a Stabila column and base. If you select that pairing in the builder we flag it, and our team will confirm the right setup before quoting.
What makes up a complete system?
One microscope head, one stand (Verso Arm, or Stabila column with a base), and at least one objective lens. PIXO systems can add a microscope controller, HD monitor, and DimensionOne software.
How do I get pricing?
Mantis systems are quoted. Build your system, send it over, and it goes straight to our sales team. We follow up with pricing and availability, usually within one business day, and help you get it ordered as quickly as possible.
I have an older Mantis. Can you still help?
Yes. Earlier models (Elite, Elite Cam HD, Compact) continue as Mantis Classic with ongoing support. Contact us about service, replacement parts, or upgrading to the current lineup.
