This is a different style of leader tape extender. This leader tape extender has adhesive on both sides for different applications. You will be able to place one side on your reel that is finishing, and you can place the other side on the new partial reel that's coming in. It has a little line right there to be able to place on the carrier tape with greater accuracy. Basically just place on there, press firmly, and this will give you an additional 18 inches of material to start your machine, with the one side of adhesive to be able to attach to a partial reel on the one side as well.
