These are the flat punch leaders. They come in 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 44 and 56. We have them in the black plastic. We have them in the paper. We also have them in the clear. We will be using these in the splice tool. They have cover tape on the top and they have flat punched throughout with no pockets. Basically, we'll get this and we'll use a splice tape with shim in one to connect. We will place this splice tape in the alignment pins with the teeth facing up. We will then place the carrier tape on the alignment pins, place the hold down unit on one side. We will then get our splice liter, place it on the other end. We will then put over the one and carrier.
We then will crimp the tool. We'll remove the carrier tape. Then we'll remove the clear liner from the splice. We will fold over on the perforation the cover tape connector. Then we will press firmly on both sides. We will then remove the clear plastic piece from the splice itself, which is just a clear plastic piece, and which will then give you the splice on the top and the splice on the bottom, which will run seamlessly through your pick and place machine without any issues.
