The Metcal STDC-805L tips are highly durable and designed for high heat transfer, making desoldering on multi-layer boards much easier. For use with the MX Series and Plated-Through-Hole Component Desoldering System with the MX-DS1 Desoldering Gun Hand-piece. The Metcal SmartHeat-Technology will adjust delivered power during soldering to suit the application. STDC-cartridges are available in 2 temperature ranges, 700-series nominally 390 ˚C and 800-series nominally 450˚C.
