The Lindstrom 8142 is an 80 Series Oval Head Ultra-Flush Cutter. This cutter is designed for precision ultra flush cuts every time. The Lindstrom 8142 cutter is forged from 1% Carbon-Chrome which is Ball Bearing Grade Steel. This material provides incredible impact resistance and resiliency with smoother, cleaner penetration at the cutting edge. The 1% Carbon-Chrome provides a 63-65 hardness rating on the Rockwell Chart. The Lindstrom 8142 is constructed with a precision screw joint, the adjustment screw minimizes friction and maximizes alignment of the cutting edges. Due to the long life of the 80 Series Cutters, replaceable springs are available and help reduce down time in between cuts. The springs leaf-action allows for a comfortable feel when in the hand.
