The first time this heat gun switches on, the tool is factory-set to 570°F (300°C). The LED light under the temperature on the temperature selection displays this. When the tool switches on, the motor starts running at a low speed. This mobile heat gun has a temperature priority function for better handling, ensuring the delivery of a constant temperature at all times and controlling the blower speed in relation to the temperature delivered. To set the temperature to 930°F (500°C), move the joystick to the right. The LED on the right-hand side of the temperature selection display lights up when the temperature reaches 930°F (500°C). To return to 570°F (300°C), move the joystick to the left.
