    The Metcal SMTC-161 blade cartridge is designed for reworking SMT components, SMTC tip cartridges do it all - assembly, removal and cleaning. The SMTC-161 is a 15.75mm blade Soldering Iron Tip for use with the MX series soldering and rework with MX-H1-AV and MX-RM3E handpieces for conduction rework of surface mount components. The blade cartridge is designed to allow effective and quick cleaning of PCB pads. Fixed temperature cartridges and tips offer users a fully safe and thermally effective solution to their lead free soldering needs as well as complete process control.

    Metcal SMTC-161 SMTC 700 Series Blade Tip Solder Cartridge Highlights:

    • Designed for reworking SMT components, SMTC tip cartridges do it all - assembly, removal and cleaning
    • SMTC soldering tip cartridges are for use with the MX-RM3E soldering/rework hand-pieces for STSS/MX systems only
