The Desco 17260 Heel Foot Grounder, Green, with 2 Meg Resistor is specifically designed to identify operators who work in RoHS lead-free areas. This model provides a continuous ground path between an operator and a properly grounded ESD protected flooring. The 17260 is designed for use on standard shoes and can be easily adjusted to fit most individuals. Desco's foot grounders have a lining that prevents carbon marks on shoes. Model 17260 has a discrete two megohm resistor built into the contact strip. The product has been tested to ESD STM97.2 - Floor Materials and Footwear Voltage Measurement in Combination with a Person. It is a suitable ESD footwear component in Flooring - Footwear System when used as the primary grounding method.
