The Chemtronics QbE Dry Fiber Optic Wipes can be used wet or dry for end-face and connector cleaning and splice preparation. The heavy-duty lint-free material won't shred or tear. The fiber-safe foam platen on the side of the box provides the ideal cleaning surface. Dry clean first whenever possible. Avoid paper and cotton. If dry cleaning doesn't produce desired results, use a minimal amount of Electro-Wash PX fiber optic cleaner on a wipe. Avoid isopropanol when cleaning end-faces. QbE Cleaning Platforms offer a more complete removal of microscopic contaminants, without the chance of damage to the optical fiber end face.
