The 40981 is a black Statfree DPL Plus Floor Mat with diamond plate. It is made with conductive vinyl top layer laminated to an anti-fatigue foam rubber bottom layer. It is designed to provide a flooring surface that does not generate a static charge and will act as part of the path-to-ground personnel wearing ESD footwear. The resistance range (1x10³ to <1x10⁶Ω Rtt) of the top black layer will remain low enough to act as a path-to-ground with normal dirt and grim build-up on a floor and meet the required limit of ANSI/ESD S20.20 footwear/flooring system. While the foam rubber bottom layer and the top yellow safety border are insulation, the black vinyl top does make sufficient contact to be grounded when placed upon ESD flooring. The insulation bottom foam rubber layer is designed to reduce standing worker's fatigue and improve productivity. The diamond plate pattern increases traction and tapered edges with radius corners help to prevent curling and reduce tripping in work areas.
