The Chemtronics CXM50 is a 4.13" long polyurethane foam swab with 0.81" tip. The durable swabs are manufactured from medical grade, polyurethane foam and great for general cleaning applications.Flextip Mini Swab - 0.19" swab with open-celled foam for high absorbency, soil capture and gentle cleaning.The CXM50 from Chemtronics is a Flextips mini swabs. These are constructed from medical grade, 100ppi, polyurethane foam which features fine cell structure, providing excellent particle entrapment characteristics. The foam is thermally bonded to the nylon paddle and polypropylene swab handle without using adhesives. The nylon/polypropylene handles are generally compatible with all common solvents including most dilute or weak acids and such as isopropyl alcohol and methanol. Not recommended for use with ketones such as acetone or methyl ethyl ketone. These swabs are ideal for general cleaning applications. These Flextips swabs can also be used to clean excess adhesives after gluing, remove flux residues from printed circuit boards, clean micro-mechanical devices, maintain and service fax machines, VCR's, PC's, printers and copiers. It removes flux residues from printed circuit boards and apply small precise quantities of adhesive or lubricants.
