Comments: The NEW Hakko FG-101B Soldering Iron Tester replaces the discontinued Hakko FG-101 and will be available July 30, 2019.
The FG-101B measures soldering iron tip temperatures, leak voltage and tip-to-ground resistance, as well as solder pot temperatures (with optional temperature probe). It includes all features from the FG-101 such as the MAX HOLD and AUTO ZERO. In addition, the FG-101B now includes a new AUTO HOLD feature. With this function the measurements will end automatically once the measurement is stabilized, which can minimize individual differences in measurements. The FG-101B also has a user selectable temperature display which allows the reading to display in either °C or °F and a measurement counter that helps to monitor your temperature sensor usage.
AUTO HOLD and MAX HOLD cannot be used simultaneously.
