1 – Temperature sensor (PN: 191-212) can only be used to measure temperatures below 500°C (932°F). To measure higher temperatures, use an applicable temperature probe.
2 – Measurement tolerance is ±5°C / ±10°F for measurements outside the rage given for measurement tolerance above.

The NEW Hakko FG-100B Thermometer replaces the discontinued Hakko FG-100 Thermometer and will be available February 22, 2019 or as soon as existing FG-100 supply is exhausted.
The FG-100B, which measures soldering iron tip temperatures as well as solder pot temperatures (with optional temperature probe), includes a new AUTO HOLD feature. With this function, the measurement will end automatically once the tip temperature is stabilized. The automatic temperature measurement can minimize individual differences in measuring temperature. In addition to the new AUTO HOLD feature, the FG-100B includes a user selectable temperature display which allows the reading to display in either °C or °F.
The FG-100B does everything the FG-100 did, such as display the maximum temperature within the MAX HOLD function and shutting off automatically after 3 minutes. Additionally, it has a low battery alarm, and a burnout alarm, which indicates a sensor burnout. The product’s design allows for easy access to sensor from front, right or left side. And the lightweight, easy to replace sensors provide accurate measurement of tips for verification or
calibration processes.
Both the AUTO HOLD function and MAX HOLD function cannot be used simultaneously on the FG-100B.
