As stated in their May 15th 2013 letter, Kester will be eliminating their liquid flux pen line on August 16, 2013, with a last time buy being offered until August 15, 2013. As the availability of their flux pens becomes limited, Chemtronics realizes the need for flux in convenient dispensers, and will continue to provide our flux pens as general replacements for non-specified fluxes. Our recommended replacements are as follows:

Bulk Applicator Dispensing Pen Processes that specify a specific Kester flux product can benefit from using the CircuitWorks® BA Dispensing Pens. These dispensers offer the versatility of being compatible with most Kester fluxes, and are able to hold up to 40 ml of liquids, increasing use time between fillings. The body of this pen is made from durable aluminum, making it more resistant to corrosion than tin-plate dispensers. The large stable base lets the user stand the pen on its end, minimizing bench space used, and it’s unique cap prevents the pen from rolling if laid on its side. |
